Education & Prevention

DASI offers community education and prevention programs for groups of all ages in a variety of formats. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Program (IVPP) provides presentations for youth; Interventions in Domestic and Sexual Violence is a 60-hour course for staff and volunteers which is also offered to professionals of other human service organizations; Professional in-service training is available to those who work with families affected by domestic and sexual violence; and we offer a comprehensive Volunteer Training Program.

Our presenters are trained in counseling and crisis intervention, and so are able to meet the needs of individuals who come forward and disclose abuse or assault after a presentation. If a school or organization can make a donation, we may receive a stipend for presentations.

We can tailor presentations to meet your needs.
