LEGISLATION

DASI advocates for local, state and federal policies that support survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and human trafficking. DASI’s membership in the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence (NCEDV) and the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA), and our participation on the NJ Human Trafficking Task Force, ensures that DASI is equipped and informed on policies that impact survivors.

Through legislative advocacy work, we can influences laws and policies to promote the prevention of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking as well as advocate for victims and survivors

Through advocacy work on community and appointed government boards, commissions and councils, DASI serves as a voice for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking and brings to the table expertise in power-based violence prevention and response.
